This is a very short, simple tutorial on how to capture and edit screenshots. I'm sure many of you know how to do this, but if you don't it can be a very useful tool.

1. This simple tool has a variety of uses. All it does is take a 'snapshot' of your entire computer screen. You can capture screenshots to use in making Photoshop tutorials, save images of receipts/online bills for your records, or print out a list of folders on your computer since you can't drag and copy just the names. There are tons of uses. So let's get to the how-to. All you have to do once you have the images on your screen that you want to save is hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press 'Print Screen'. This copies your entire computer screen to your clipboard. Remember it copies EVERYTHING, so even your mouse cursor will show up. Move it to the side if you want out of the way.

2. Now once you have the image copied to your clipboard, you can edit it in any image editing program such as Photoshop or Paint. In Photoshop, all you have to do after you copy the image is create a new document. By default, the 'Height' and 'Width' will automatically be sized for the image on the clipboard. So all you have to do is hit ok.

3. Once you have a new document open, simply go to 'Edit' and select 'Paste'. The screenshot is there ready for you to edit as you would any other image. You can crop, resize, etc... But remember, the text on the screen is just part of the image so it can't be edited. That's it. I hope this tools helps if you didn't know about it.
